On May 25, 2022 the fire company had a busy day. At 517am we responded to a carbon monoxide alarm on Country Club Lane, it was a faulty detector. At 836am we responded to I476 north bound with Broomall Fire Company for an accident with injuries, EMS treated one minor injury. At 934am crews responded to an accident at Baltimore Pike and Papermill Road, there was one minor injury there. At 1231 the company responded to a street sweeper on fire at Baltimore Pike and Norwinden Drive at the Gulf gas station. Two engines and a crew of 10 made quick work of the fire. At 420 pm crews responded to State and Collins for an accident, there was one minor injury at that location. While clearing that call the company responded with Broomall Fire Company to I476 north bound for an accident involving a motorcycle. Crews assisted with patient care and traffic control until they cleared the highway. At 528pm crews responded to State Road under Sproul Road for an accident with injuries, crews assisted EMS. At 1019pm crews responded to assist EMS on a cardiac arrest in the 100 block of Baltimore Pike. The officers of the fire company want to thank all the volunteers and staff for their professionalism and quick response to assist those in need.
