Accident on Wayne Avenue

On March 21, 2022 at 345pm Springfield Fire Company along with EMS and police responded to a car accident on the unit block of Wayne Ave. A vehicle had struck a house. Crews arrived to find a male operator in the car who was uninjured. He was assisted from the car and checked out by EMS. The home did sustain some damage. The township fire marshal and code enforcement responded and checked out the building. The fire company was on scene for approximately 30 minutes until the car was removed.

The Street Sweeper certainly was not cleaning the Pig Sty Gas Station. However, kudos to our brave firemen who helped avoid disaster.

I was coming out of CVS a little after that and saw all the cop cars. Now I know what happened
