Tropical Depression Ida

On September 1, 2021 about 20 volunteers staffed the firehouse while Tropical Depression Ida dumped rain and wind on the township. Thankfully the fire company responded to two calls for wires during the storm. Both incidents were handled quickly and turned over to the Township Highway Department and PECO. The fire company would like to thank Pat Burns and Nancy from the Springfield Country Club who donated several trays of hot dogs and cheese burgers to the firefighters.
