Passing of former Chief Kendall “Ken” Cowley

Springfield Fire Company regrets to announce the passing of former Fire Chief Kendall “Ken” Cowley. He was 87 years old. Ken was a 1955 graduate of Springfield High School. Ken served in  numerous offices and was Chief from 1964 until 1970. Ken moved away in 1995 to Maryland. He always came back and could found in the alarm room talking about fires with the younger members. He was a true gentleman and easy to talk too. He will be missed.
