New Tower Ordered

The Springfield Fire Company is proud to announce the ordering of a new Tower 44 to replace our 1999 Tower. The apparatus committee lead by Mike Huzcko worked tirelessly over the last 6 to 8 months. There were numerous meetings, sometimes three a week to go over the specifications. Long time members stepped up to show the new generation how it’s done. The members thank Bunk Woolston, Keith Thomas and Mike Ranieri for their time, input and expertise. We want to thank all the Springfield Township Commissioners: First Ward Ed Kelly, Second Ward Gina Sage, Third Ward Kevin Dion, Fourth Ward James Kennedy, Fifth Ward Jeff Rudolph, Sixth Ward Bob Layden and Seventh Ward Dan Lanciano for their support of the new tower, without it we would not have been able to accomplish this project. We look forward to the delivery and especially thank the Springfield Community for their continued support.
