The fire company attended the Board of Commissioners meeting on February 8, 2022. The commissioners recognized the top 5 EMS and Fire responders for 2021. Fire company recipients were Kenny Felker 378 calls, Chris Colburn 318, Brian Finley 266, Robert Smythe, Sr 251 and Anthony Owens 242 calls. The fire company would like to congratulate them along with the top 5 EMS responders. Also recognized were the boys and girls lacrosse teams from Springfield High School. During the last snow storm they cleared 91 homes in the township. Congrats to all the recipients!!
