Fire Company Member Becomes Eagle Scout

The Springfield Fire Company is proud to announce probationary firefighter John Murphy has earned his Eagle Scout. He was honored recently at the commissioners meeting along with another Springfield resident Alex Spatola. John joined the company last year and his younger brother Matt recently joined. The young men are an asset to the company. It is great to see young members of the community stepping up and giving back to their communities.
