Tower to Rose Tree Park for Police Memorial Service

On Wednesday May 10, 2023 Tower 44 went to Rose Tree Park along with Woodlyn Ladder 67 to provide an arch for the annual police memorial service. Assistant Chief Hope and FF Salmieri volunteered their time to make Springfield proud. The ceremony honored 47 officers who gave their lives serving our communities. There was one addition to the memorial this year, Officer John Burke from Clifton Heights Police department who passed away from complications from COVID-19. Springfield Fire Company salutes these heroes and we thank them for their sacrifice.
