Utility 44

2005 Ford F-350 XLT Super Duty with Reading Utility Body
Utility 44 is 2005 Ford F-350 XLT Super Duty with a Reading Utility body. The truck was purchased in 2005 by Springfield Township's Fireman's Relief Association. The cab has seating for 5 firefighters. The utility body carries fire ground support equipment and equipment to assist Springfield Fire Police on incident scenes. The response of the Utility to incident scenes is flexible and can automatically respond if personnel is available or can be special called to any incident scene if the vehicle is needed for support. The Utility is outfitted with a traffic direction arrow to assist Fire Police with traffic control or shutting down traffic during emergencies. The utility bed area can also be used to help transport equipment back to the firehouse after major incidents and helps restore the Fire Company's apparatus in a timely manner. The vehicle can also be used to help trasnport members and equipment to various fire schools throughout the area for training.

Congratulations to all of the 2022 recipients who were honored for your years of service and volunteering to Springfield, and its residents and youth. Our community is better as a result of your unselfish efforts. Thank you!

Congratulations Jay!

Congratulations

Thanks Bob for stopping over for the photos. It meant a lot to the family! Sorry we couldn't work out the car deal, that would have been fun and appropriate.

You were the whole parade. 🇺🇸🎉🇺🇸

👏👏👏

Thank you.
