Saint Patrick's Day Parade 2007

Springfield Firefighters continued the time honored tradition of bringing out the festive green "Fighting 44th" sweatshirts to participate in the Township's annual Saint Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 10th. With the weather changing to an early Spring feeling just in time for the weekend, the parade kicked off at high noon to the delight of thousands of Irish happy parade watchers and participants.
Springfield Firefighters lead the fire company apparatus in the parade by marched with the Fire Company banner. Thirty five members participated with the Fire Company and marched proudly down Saxer Avenue as the parade watchers showed the members their appreciation for everything that the Fire Company does throughout the year.
Springfield Fire Company would like to congratulate Jack McNamee, owner of CJ Magee's of Springfield, for being honored as the 2007 Saint Patrick's Day Parade Grand Marshal. Springfield Fire Company would also like to the thanks the residents of Springfield Township for the continued support and appreciation of the dedicated service of the members of Springfield Fire Company.
