Rescue 44 responded with a crew of six, and was immediately followed by Utility 44 with three more firefighters. The crews set up a R.I.T. staging area and laddered the building to provide access. The crew from Quint 06 made an aggressive interior attack bringing the fire quickly under control. Company 44 remained on scene until released by 06-9.
