Springfield Fire Company traveled to Neptune Fire Company, Richland Boro,  Lebanon County, PA on Saturday, June 16th, to participate in the 100th Anniversary celebration of Neptune Fire Company and 85th Annual Convention for Lebanon County Firefighters Association.  Springfield Fire Company  participated in the parade with seven pieces of apparatus and 25 members marching.  The convention and parade was a great event.  The day's events celebrated the dedication to service that our fellow firefighters from Lebanon County and Neptune Fire Company show everyday to the citizens that they protect.

The members of Springfield Fire Company were proud to display their company pride to all the parade participants and parade watchers.  At the end of the day Springfield Fire Company was honored with seven trophies for the company.  The prizes won by Springfield Fire Company were:

1. Most Functional and Equipped Chief's Vehicle - 2nd Place - 44-8A

2. Most Functional and Equipped Engine/Rescue - 2nd Place - TAC 44

3. Most Functional and Equipped Rescue - 2nd Place - Rescue 44

4. Most Functional and Equipped Engine 1750gpm+ - 2nd Place - Engine 44-1

5. Most Functional and Equipped Tower Ladder - 1st Place - Tower 44

6. Most Functional and Equipped Engine 1982-1996 - 1st Place - Engine 44-4

7. Best Appearing Fire Company in Uniform without Music - 1st Place

Springfield Fire Company would like to congratulate the Neptune Fire Company on there 100th Anniversary of serving the citizens of Richland Boro and Lebanon County.

Springfield Fire Company would also like to thank Garden City Fire Company for providing stand-by coverage at Station 44 on Saturday, June 16th.
