| Springfield Fire Company was dispatched to the 900 Block of Providence Road on Friday, January 6th at 0705 hours for a Motor Vehicle Accident. Upon arrival of Springfield PD and Morton PD, the accident was found to be in Morton Boro. Chief 44-9A arrived on the scene and had a van which struck a pole, and landed on its side. All seven occupants of the vehicle had self extricated. Squad 44 responded and stood by.
Units operating on the scene were: Squad 44, Ambulance 44-7 & 44-7a (Springfield Ambulance), Ambulance 14-7 (Swarthmore Ambulance), Springfield PD and Morton PD.
