FAQ

Happy 4th of July

$th of July

Springfield Fire Company members participated in the annual Springfield Township Fourth of July parade on Wednesday.  The Springfield Firefighters were proudly lead this year by Parade Marshal Chief Robert Woolson.  Seven of the fire company's apparatus were displayed during the parade.

Before the parade, Springfield Fire Company, along with 9 other volunteer organizations within Springfield Township, honored an exemplary volunteer from each organization by having their names added to the Springfield Volunteer Memorial Wall at Saxer Avenue and Powell Road.  For 2007, Springfield Fire Company honored Chief Robert Woolson who has been an active member of the fire company for 30 years. Chief Woolson has held the positions of Asst. Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Chief, and Chief, as well as serving as Director and Recording Secretary.

Springfield Fire Company would like wish every resident a happy and safe Fourth of July holiday.
