FAQ

Fire Prevention

PROTECTION THRU PREVENTION

DID YOU REMEMBER TO CHANGE THE BATTERIES IN YOUR SMOKE DETECTORS??? DO NOT FORGET TO TEST THEM ON A MONTHLY BASIS!!!

Prevention is the best way for you to protect yourself and your family from the perils of fire.  The Springfield Fire Company works to educate school children and adults on fire safety and fire prevention through-out the year with the majority of school children visited during the Month of October.  If you would like to have a fire prevention program conducted at your school or organization or would like to schedule a tour of the Springfield Fire House, contact the Fire House at (610) 544-0260 or (610)328-0855 and ask to speak with Captain Edward Clapper or leave a message.

All Fire Prevention Information has been furnished by the National Fire Protection Association, Batterymarch Park, Quincy, MA  02269
