Incident Statistics You can see the activity of Springfield Fire Company by viewing the Incident Statistics listed below. Year to Date (Statistics for the current calender year) Previous Years (Statistics for year-end totals of past years) The Springfield Fire Company is responsible for the fire protection of the citizens of Springfield Township. The responsibilities of the Fire Company have also grown to include: Motor Vehicle Accidents, Rescue Calls, Hazardous Conditions, Hazardous Materials, and Other Service Calls. The citizens of Springfield Township are also protected by surrounding fire companies through Pre-Planned Responses during the weekday hours, on high life-hazard properties and when larger scale emergencies require more man-power and equipment. The Springfield Fire Company also provides mutual aid assistance to surrounding communities when major incidents occur or when Automatic Assistance has been planned. All Fire Company members are notified of an emergency with the Pagers that are issued to them by the Fire Company. The firehouse siren is only used in addition to the Pagers to notify members for larger scale emergencies when man-power is needed. |
