Congratulations Firefighter LeTourneau - PFD 183 Fire Cadet Class

The officers and crew of the Springfield Fire Company would like to congratulate Firefighter Matthew LeTourneau on his recent graduation from the Philadelphia Fire Department Fire Training Academy.  Firefighter LeTourneau graduated as a member of the 183rd Fire Cadet Class.

Firefighter LeTourneau graduated from the Fire Academy on Friday, May 25th.  The graduation ceremony was held at the Irvine Auditorium on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.  Firefighter LeTourneau's wife Anne, a volunteer with Springfield Fire Company and Springfield Ambulance Corps, his mother and grandparents celebrated the event with him.  His grandfather, James Thomas, is a retired Police Officer with the Chester Police Department and a volunteer firefighter with the Franklin Fire Company, Chester.

Firefighter LeTourneau is now serving as a Firefighter/EMT on Engine 43, Platoon "D", located at 21st Street & Market Street in Center City Philadelphia.  Firefighter LeTourneau joins 11 other members of Springfield Fire Company that have gone on to professional careers as Firefighters.  Best of luck Matt and stay safe.
