1st Place - Best Appearing Award at PA State Fireman's Association Parade

Springfield Fire Company members traveled up the Blue Route on Saturday, September 30th to participate in the Pennsylvania State Fireman's Association Parade in Conshohocken.  Washington Fire Co. #1 of Conshohocken and Plymouth Fire Co. #1 of Plymouth Township co-hosted the 127th annual convention.

Springfield Fire Company participated in the parade with Utility 44, Engine 44-1, Rescue 44 and Tower 44.  The members also marched in a parade with our company banner and honor guard for the second time this year.  At the end of the day, Springfield Fire Company was awarded two prizes, 3rd place for Engine 44-1 and first place for Best Appearing Company Marching with under 35 members and no music.

Springfield Fire Company would like to congratulate Washington Fire Company #1 and Plymouth Fire Company #1 for the outstanding job of hosting the annual convention.  Springfield Fire Company would like to thank the Rose Tree Fire Company and Garden City Fire Company for providing stand-by coverage at Station 44 while the Company was attending the State Convention Parade.  Springfield Fire Company would also like to congratulate all the Delaware County Fire Companies that participated in the parade and brought home some of the top prizes for the parade.
