Fourth of July Parade 2006

Springfield Fire Company members participated in the annual Springfield Township Fourth of July parade on Tuesday.  Springfield Firefighters lead the company in the line of march during the parade.  Seven of the fire company's apparatus were displayed during the parade this year.

Before the parade, Springfield Fire Company, along with 9 other volunteer organizations within Springfield Township, honored an exemplary volunteer from each organization by having their names added to the Springfield Volunteer Memorial Wall at Saxer Avenue and Powell Road.  For 2006, Springfield Fire Company honored past Chief Steve Burns for more than 45 years of service to Springfield Fire Company.
