VFW Honors Firefighter of the Year on Loyalty Day

Springfield Fire Company Assistant Chief Dave Osciak was honored as the Firefighter of the Year by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5705 at their 14th Annual Loyalty Day on Saturday, April 29th at the Springfield Township Municipal Building.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5705 honors a Firefighter, Police Officer and EMT of the Year for Springfield Township during their annual Loyalty Day ceremony.

Assistant Chief Dave Osciak joined Springfield Fire Company in 1992 with over 11 years of firefighting experience with the Clifton Heights Fire Company.  He has held numerous positions within the Fire Company including: Captain, Board of Director, Deputy Chief, Treasurer and now Assistant Chief.

The Officers and Members of Springfield Fire Company congratulate Assistant Chief Dave Osciak on his being honored as the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5705 Firefighter of the Year for 2006.
