Lincoln Burns on State Road

Springfield Fire Company was dispatched on Thursday, November 10th, at 13:30 hours to State Road and West Springfield Road for a Vehicle Fire. Chief 44-9 arrived on location and changed the address to North State Road and Golf View Road and reported a vehicle fire well involved in the engine compartment area.
TAC 44 arrived on location an went into service with an 1 3/4" hose line. Firefighters brought the fire under control in minutes and checked the passenger compartment for any fire extension. There were no injuries to any occupants of the vehicle.
Firefighters remained on the scene until 14:15 hours.
Units operating on the scene were: TAC 44, Ambulance 44-7, Springfield Police and Fire Police.
