Wedding Bells Ring Twice

Springfield Fire Company had wedding bells ringing for two members during the summer months.  Firefighter Bill Lavery tied the knot on June 24th at Saint Matthew's Church in Conshohocken, PA.  Bill and Alison were very surprised to see Engine 44-2 on Fayette Street when they emerged from the church together for the first time as husband and wife.

Firefighter Brian Kohl made his wedding vows official to his wife Sara on the beaches of the Outer Banks, North Carolina during the month of July.  Springfield Fire Company members really wanted to have a piece of apparatus at the wedding ceremony, but with the price of fuel being so high this summer, the distance was a little to far.

The Members of Springfield Fire Company would like to congratulate Bill and Alison Lavery and Brian and Sara Kohl.  Wishing you many years of happiness together.
