Three Vehicle Accident on West Springfield Road
Springfield Fire Company was dispatched on Saturday, March 12th at 07:35 hours to West Springfield Road and Duncan Lane for a Motor Vehicle Accident. Springfield Police and Chief 44-9B arrived on location with a three vehicle accident with multiple injuries and involving a PECO utility pole.
TAC 44 arrived on location and stabilized the vehicles and started checking the injured subjects. Springfield Ambulance was dispatched for the second ambulance and Marple EMS was also dispatched to assist at the scene.
Firefighters controlled all hazards on the scene and assisted EMS.
Firefighters remained on the scene until 08:03 hours.
Units operating on the scene were: TAC 44, Ambulance 44-7 & 44-7A, Medic 106 (Springfield Hospital), Medic 53 (Marple), Ambulance 53-7A, Springfield Police and Fire Police.
