Residents Can Help with Clearing Snow

Springfield Fire Company would like to ask for the assistance of residents with clearing snow from around fire hydrants in their neighborhoods.  By clearing the snow from around the hydrant, you will be doing your part to help Springfield Fire Company protect the homes in your neighborhood.  Valuable time can be lost if firefighters have difficulty finding the snow covered hydrant and clearing snow from a hydrant.  If you know where your closest hydrant is in your neighborhood, get everyone in the neighborhood involved to help protect the community.  Springfield Fire Company hopes to keep all residents safe from fire and have everyone ready to cheer the Philadelphia Eagles on to victory in Super Bowl XXXIX!
