Mansion Road House Damaged by Falling Tree

Springfield Fire Company was dispatched on alarm #04-899 on Thursday, November 25th, Thanksgiving Day at 3:37pm to Mansion Road for a Tree into a House.

Firefighters from TAC 44 and Rescue 44 checked the dwelling for structural damage and secured the area due to downed electrical wires.

Springfield Firefighters stood-by to assist the Code Enforcement Department and waited for PECO Energy to arrive and secure the power. 

No residents were hurt by the falling tree.  The home did sustained moderate damage and a private restoration company was called to help secure the home against any further damage until repairs can be made.

Firefighters remained on the scene until 4:37pm.

Units operating on the scene were:  TAC 44, Rescue 44, Springfield Township's Fire Marshal, Springfield Township Code Enforcement, Springfield Police and Fire Police.
