Springfield Fire Company once again helped light up the annual Halloween Parade on Saxer Avenue on Thursday, October 28th.  The parade was organized by the Junior Women's Club of Springfield and hosted by the Saxer Avenue business association.  The parade started in front of the businesses along Saxer Avenue and ended on Saxer Avenue in front of the fire house.

Springfield Fire Company used TAC 44, Engine 44-1 and Rescue 44 to light up Saxer Avenue in front of the firehouse for the judging and awards ceremony.  Springfield Fire Police provided traffic control and shut down Saxer Avenue between Bennett Road and Powell Road during the festivities.  The parade was a great success with over 300 children participating in the parade.  Congratulations to all the participants.
