913th Presents Flag to Springfield Fire Company
Springfield Fire Company was presented with a Port Authority flag that was flown on Flag Day 2004 at "Ground Zero, New York" by the 913th Maintenance Group, Willow Grove Air Reserve Station.
Allen J. Evangelista, Senior Master Sergeant, USAFR and Thomas E. Addis, Master Sergeant, USAFR presented the flag to the members of Springfield Fire Company on Tuesday, August 24th at the firehouse after the members completed Tuesday night training.
The 913th Maintenance Group members are no strangers to Springfield Township. Several members of the 913th are residents in Springfield Township including Thomas Addis. The 913th Maintenance Group was involved in the Fourth of July parade in 2004 and other parades in past years.
