Firefighters Attend a Game at Citizens Bank Park

Springfield Firefighters recently spent a night at the new Citizens Bank Park.  On Tuesday, June 15th, the Fire Company watched the Fightin' Phils take on the Detroit Tigers.

After a 2 hour rain delay the game finally got under way.  The Members were very impressed with the new stadium but not with the Phillies performance on this particular night.  The Detroit Tigers defeated the Phillies 8-1.  Let's hope the Phillies do a lot better come October.

Springfield Fire Company would like to thank our fellow firefighters from Swarthmore Fire Company that provided stand-by coverage at Station 44 while our members attended the ball game.
