Lemonade Stand Refreshes Firefighters

Springfield Fire Company was returning from a motor vehicle accident on Sherman Road on Sunday afternoon, May 16th, when a local lemonade stand looked to good to pass up.  The accident call which involved a motorcycle in the 600 block of Sherman Road was minor in nature and the fire company services where not required on the scene.

When returning to the firehouse on North Norwinden Drive, firefighters on TAC 44 decided a lemonade stand at the intersection of Hawarden Road and North Norwinden Drive looked like a refreshing place to stop.  The lemonade stand operators were surprised to see the fire truck stop and excited when they made another sale.

Springfield Fire Company would like to thank the neighborhood kids for the refreshing treat.
