Early Morning Accident in Front of Springfield Hospital
Springfield Fire Company was dispatched on Wednesday, March 17th, at 06:50 hours on alarm #04-174 to the 100 Block of West Sproul Road for a Motor Vehicle Accident. Upon arrival of TAC 44, one vehicle was in the roadway after striking a tree and both occupants of the vehicle were thrown from the vehicle.
Firefighters from TAC 44 assisted Medic 106 (Springfield Hospital) with medical care and secured all hazards with the vehicle. Ambulance 14-7 (Swarthmore) and Ambulance 23-7 (Media) assisted and transported both subjects to Crozer Chester Medical Center.
Firefighters remained on the scene until 07:50 hours.
Units operating on the scene were: TAC 44, Ambulance 14-7, Ambulance 23-7, Medic 23, Medic 106, Springfield Police and Fire Police.
