New Engine Nearing Completion
Springfield Fire Company had another inspection trip to Sutphen Corporation in Columbus, Ohio on February 24th to check on the progression of the new Engine 44-1. The tentative date for final delivery of the apparatus is mid-March.
Pictures are posted of the apparatus with all the components mounted on the chassis at the Corporate Headquarters Plant in Columbus, OH.
