Vehicle Strikes Pole on Kerr Lane

Springfield Fire Company was dispatched on alarm #04-089 on Friday, February 6th, at 16:17 hours to the 400 Block of Kerr Lane for a Motor Vehicle Accident.  Upon arrival of Springfield Police and Chief 44-9, one vehicle had struck a light pole and three people inside the car were injured.

Ambulance 44-7 and TAC 44 arrived on location and moved all the occupants away from the vehicle because of live electrical wires down around the vehicle.  The crew from TAC 44 assisted the medical personnel and secured the scene around the vehicle and the downed electrical wires.  Ambulance 14-7 and Ambulance 44-7A assisted at the scene.  PECO Energy was notified for the downed electrical wires.

Firefighters remained on the scene until 17:00 hours.

Units operating on the scene were:  TAC 44, Ambulance 44-7 and 44-7A, Ambulance 14-7, Medic 102, Medic 101, Springfield Police and Fire Police.
