Helicopter Transports Injured Child to CHOP
Springfield Fire Company was dispatched on alarm #04-071 on Saturday, Janaury 31st, at 15:24 hours to assist Ambulance 44-7 and Medic 102 (Taylor Hospital) with a Landing Zone for PennStar's Medical Helicopter at the Church Road Park.
A child was injured while sledding at Pennsdale Park on Church Road and required transportation to Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania.
TAC 44 set-up the landing zone area at Church Road Park and stood-by at the Landing Zone until the helicopter cleared the area.
