Springfield Firefighter in Philadelphia FD 177th Cadet Class
Springfield Fire Company is honored to announce that Firefighter/EMT Michael Hope started his career in the Philadelphia Fire Department on Monday, June 30th. Michael is a cadet in the 177th Firefighter Cadet Class at the Philadelphia Fire Academy in the Northeast. Michael will be following in his father's footsteps in the Philadelphia Fire Department, his father retired from PFD in 1989 after 26 years of service.
The members of Springfield Fire Company wish Michael the very best with his new career in the Philadelphia Fire Department.
Springfield Firefighters also had the annual Fourth of July softball game at Volunteer Memorial Field on Tuesday, July1st. A good time was had by all and we were pleased to have Lieutenant Robert Tracey give Cadet Michael Hope a few cooking lessons before going to his new firehouse in Philadelphia.
