SUV Crashes into Tree
Springfield Fire Company was dispatched on Sunday, June 22, at 17:47 hours for a Motor Vehicle Accident at Thomson Avenue and Powell Road. Upon arrival of Springfield Police and TAC 44, there was one vehicle off the roadway that had struck a tree.
TAC 44 advised Ambulance 44-7 and Medic 106 that there were three injuries and no entrapment. The crew from TAC 44 stabilized the vehicle and assisted EMS. Additional EMS units were needed to transport all the subjects to Crozer Chester Medical Center. Firefighters from Rescue 44 assisted the crew from TAC 44.
Firefighters remained on the scene until 18:28 hours.
Units operating on the scene were: TAC 44, Rescue 44, Ambulance 44-7, 44-7A, Medic 106, Medic 103-7B, Springfield Police and Fire Police.
