Assist to Media FC at Court House
Springfield Fire Company was dispatched on Tuesday, April 29th, at 15:25 hours to Assist Media Fire Company (Company 23) at the Delaware County Court House, 201 West Front St. Media.
Company 23 was initially dispatched to a dumpster fire at the Court House and they upgraded the assignment to a Building Fire because of smoke in the building from the dumpster fire.
Firefighters from Tower 44 assisted with ventilation of the Court House and also assisted with overhaul of the dumpster.
Firefighters remained on the scene until 17:00 hours.
Units operating on the scene were: Squirt 23, Engine 23-2, Snorkel 23, Quint 73, Engine 73, Tower 44, Truck 69, Engine 51-2, Rescue 51, Rescue 44, Ambulance 23-7A, Medic 23 and Media Police.
