Car Crashes into Attached Garage
Springfield Fire Company was dispatched on Thursday, April 10th, at 15:30 hours for a Dwelling Fire at 609 Minshall Road. Upon arrival of Springfield Police and Springfield Township Fire Marshall (Car 1), a car had crashed through the garage door of an attached garage at that residence and there was a light smoke condition inside the garage.
Engine 44-1 arrived on the scene and stretched a precautionary line and checked the vehicle and garage area. The incident was handled by Engine 44-1 and firefighters provided ventilation of the structure.
Springfield Township Code Enforcement was notified to check the structure.
Firefighters remained on the scene until 15:55 hours.
Units operating on the scene were: Engine 44-1, Springfield Police and Fire Police, Springfield Township Fire Marshall (Car 1) and Springfield Township Code Enforcement.
