Springfield Fire Company participated in the Springfield Athletic Association's (SAA) Baseball Kickoff Parade on Saturday, April 6th.   Baseball and Softball players from the different leagues in the Athletic Association walked in the parade along with the Springfield High School Band, Two Street String Band, and the Fire Company

Before the parade began, Springfield Fire Company, along with Springfield Ambulance Corps, were honored by Replay and the Springfield Athletic Association for the years of dedicated service to the community.  At the Springfield Volunteer Memorial Field, Replay played its first two inaugural games.    Luke LeTourneau presented the plaques to Lieutenant Edward Clapper, Springfield Fire Company, and President Jerry Gillen, Springfield Ambulance Corps, on behalf of the Springfield Athletic Association, Replay and the Citizens of Springfield Township.

Replay is an organization created by the Springfield Athletic Association that works to reunite teammates and replay exciting athletic games from years past in the Athletic Association.

The parade ended at the Springfield High School where the baseball and softball players formed a giant "SAA" on the baseball field.  Tower 44 provided an aerial view point of the event for photographers.
