Philadelphia Fire Dept. Rescue 1 at Station 44
The new Rescue 1 for the Philadelphia Fire Department was at Station 44 on Tuesday, October 29th. The unit was being delivered to the City of Philadelphia later in the day and it made a stop at Station 44.
The new apparatus will be replacing their existing heavy rescue truck which has been in service for over ten years.
Rescue 1 is the only Heavy Rescue Unit for the City of Philadelphia Fire Department.
