5K Run/Walk Benefits Hero Scholarship Fund

The Greater Springfield Business Association will be hosting a 5K Run/Walk Event that will take place on Sunday, October 21, 2001 at 9:00am in Springfield Township.  The Race will benefit the Delaware County Hero Scholarship Fund for Children of Police Officers and Firefighters who die in the line of duty in Delaware County.

Registration begins at 7:30am at the Springfield Township Municipal Building.  The race will take place on a Certified 5K Course which starts at the Township Building.  Electronic Timing will be used for the race.   Cash Prizes, T-Shirts and Awards will be given out to participants of the event.
