September 11th Relief Fund Campaign

Springfield Fire Company extends our deepest sympathy to the families and friends of all the victims of this horrible tragedy.

To the Firefighters of FDNY and Police Officers of New York, we stand with you as everyone continues to work to find all our lost brothers and sisters.  May God be with you and your families during this most difficult time.

To the rescuers in Washington D.C. and Shanksville, PA, our deepest respect and admiration for all the work that you have done.  Continue to answer the call and be proud of the work that you were called on to perform under the most trying circumstances.

These horrific acts of terrorism will not stop this great country, The United States of America.  These horrific acts will not stop firefighters from doing our job, the job of saving lives and property.

Springfield Fire Company members are currently on stand-by, along with firefighters from around Delaware County, if additional resources are needed in New York City.  Firefighters from Delaware County could be sent to assist at anytime.

God Bless America and God Bless The Fire Service!!

The words of Edward Crocker - Past Chief - FDNY
