Springfield Fire Company Honors Fallen Firefightersspringfieldbrick.jpg (55158 bytes)

Springfield Fire Company has joined numerous Fire Companies, Fire Service Organizations, and individuals in honoring the Fallen Firefighters of the United States.

The Springfield Fire Company purchased a Memorial Brick in the Walk of Honor at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial on the grounds of the National Fire Academy in Emmittsburg, Maryland.  The brick was purchased back in 1998 when the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation started the Walk of Honor Program.  The Walk of Honor Brick list can be viewed on their web site.

Springfield Fire Company has never experienced a Line of Duty Death in the Company, something that we hope to continue forever.
