Housing of TAC-44 and Tower 44

The Housing Ceremony for the new 1999 Sutphen Tactical Unit and Aerial Tower will be on Saturday, September 25, 1999 at 12:00 hrs at the Springfield Firehouse, 217 Saxer Avenue.  Surrounding Fire Companies have been invited to participate in the housing ceremonies. 

The Springfield Fire Company would like to extend an invitation to all residents of Springfield Township to participate in the housing of these two new pieces of apparatus.  With the continued support of the Citizens of Springfield Township and our elected officials, Springfield Fire Company continues to move forward in the Fire Protection of Springfield Township.

The Housing Ceremony is a tradition in the fire service, and the Springfield Fire Company hopes to continue that tradition and also the progression of the fire service well into the new millenium.  Show your support of the Men and Women of Springfield Fire Company by participating in our Special Day, September 25 at 12:00 hrs.  Any other questions concerning the housing can be directed to the Housing Committee Chairperson, Captain Louis Valentine, (610)544-0260.   Hope to see you there.
