Bon Fire - 1999
Springfield High School held their annual Bon Fire,
Thursday evening, October 21 on the Athletic Fields behind the High School. The
Annual event is a celebration of all the fall sports teams and also a Student Rally for an
up coming Football Game.
Springfield Fire Company stood-by at the Annual event to keep everything safe and to handle extinguishing the remaining fire after the event was over.
The Students organize the event with the help of Student Advisors, from obtaining the wooden palates and materials needed for the Bon Fire, to setting up the Bon Fire pile and also gaining the proper permits needed for the event.
The Bon Fire was an annual tradition for many years, but was recently started again at the request of the student body.
The event was a success again and hopefully will continue to be a success for many more years.
