Patches and Pumper

Always a hit at fire prevention visits, pleasing the kids (young and old) and well taken care of by the members of Springfield Fire Company are PATCHES AND PUMPER.  A new addition to the Fire Prevention Team in Springfield in 1997, Patches and Pumper have helped deliver the message of fire safety and fire prevention to over 5,000 kids during that time.  While Patches always seems to steal the show, talking to the kids and getting the message out, Pumper is the work horse, making sure that Patches is never late and always moving around. 

Patches and Pumper would like to thank the many kids they have talked to and visited with since joining the Springfield Fire Company.  The smiling faces and the loud applause from all the kids makes Patches and Pumper very happy about what they do and keeps them working hard to get the message out about FIRE SAFETY !!
