Rescue 44 is the second responding apparatus on all motor vehicle accidents with entrapment in Springfield Township and on I-476 between Exit 2 and Exit 4 and all of the Exit 3 Interchange.  It is the first responding apparatus for assists on entrapments to surrounding communities.  Delivered in November of 1991, Rescue 44 has made the difference on numerous accident scenes and many working structure fires in the middle of some tough winters.  Some features of this unit are:

Walk Through Rescue Body Design, 8 Person Crew Cab, 35 Kilowatt Generator, 16' "Night Scan" Light Tower, 8' Little Giant Ladder, 16000 Watts of External Illumination
