Engine 44-3 was the last piece of fire apparatus
Springfield Fire Company used that had a totally open cab. Utilized as a water
supply piece, the piece of equipment supplied the water for many historic fires in
Springfield Township and surrounding communities. Now a retired piece of apparatus,
