Vehicle Fire on Thomson Ave

On Sunday, September 11th, Springfield Fire Company was dispatched to the 400 block of East Thomson Ave for a vehicle fire.  Squad 44 arrived on location and found a vehicle in the roadway with the engine compartment fully involved.  Crew from Squad 44 placed an 1 3/4" hose line into service to extinguish the fire.
