MVA With a Vehicle Overturned

On Wednesday, August, 26th at 1337 hours, Springfield Fire Company responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident with Entrapment on Batimore Pike at Grove Avenue.  Lieutenant 44-13A and Chief 44-9 arrived on location to find a two vehicle accident, with one vehicle overturned and no entrapment. The crew from Engine 44-1 stabilized and checked the vehicles, while the EMS personnel from Ambulance 44-7 and Medic 106 (Springfield Hospital) assessed the patients.

Units operating on the scene were: Engine 44-1, Utility 44, Ambulance 44-7 & 44-7A, Medic 106, Medic 75-7 (Briarcliffe), Springfield Police and Fire Police.

Firefighters remained the scene until the vehicle was uprighted.  Units cleared the scene at 14:05 hours.
