Rescue 44 as RIT on Christmas Night into Ridley Township

Springfield Firefighters were alerted for the Rapid Intervention Team Assignment on Christmas night, December 25th, at 22:10 hours to assist Holmes Fire Company (Company 43) in the 300 Block of Holmes Avenue, Ridley Township for the Working Dwelling Fire.
Rescue 44 responded with 6 firefighters and, upon arrival, staged all RIT equipment on Side "C" (rear) of the 1 1/2 story dwelling. Companies operating on the scene had fire in the basement and first floor area of the residence.
Firefighters from Rescue 44 stood by on the scene with RIT 45 (Parkside) until being released by 43 Command.
